Our journey to Pangong Lake, a five-hour drive from Leh, took us through some stunning and dramatic scenery shown in the following images.

Changla Pass at 17,888ft is the third highest motorable road in the world.

Pangong Lake (14,270ft) stretches 134km from India to China.  One-third of the lake is in India and the remaining two-thirds are in China.  On our visit in early March the temperature was extremely cold and the lake was completely frozen.
